Title: Project Manager/Leader – Senior
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 Days/Week)
Duration: 6-Months Contract with possible extension.Job Description:
Provide leadership and coaches the team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services
Collaborate with the Ministry’s product owner to prioritize the product backlog
Collaborate with diverse teams and negotiate solutions with multiple stakeholders
Facilitates and supports Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospective
Proficient at requirements refinement, story point estimation, velocity, retrospection and other scrum techniques
Resolves team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the development team
Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Identify areas for improvement and increase the productivity of the Scrum Team
Identify, manage and report risks and issues.
Other Skills:
Experience working in multi-tiered, complex product development environment
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Providing a servant leadership style support for the team
Understanding of IT and business environment standards
