Psychiatrist Research Consultant (Temporary Casual)

Duties and Responsibilities:

The UMN Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Psychiatrist Research Consultant to assist with grants in psychiatry, addiction medicine and opioid use disorder.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical expertise in opioid use disorder.
* Supervise the Study Coordinator in clinical assessment and interviews.
* Facilitate recruitment of individuals with prenatal substance abuse

Required Qualifications:
* MD degree
* 10 years of psychiatry clinical trial experience
* Expertise in addiction medicine, opioid use disorder, with key contacts in targeted addiction treatment sites in the Twin Cities metro area
* Expertise in the planning and execution of clinical trials in alcohol and drug use populations
* Able to work 4 hours per week

This position is located in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.

Pay Range: $90.00 – $108.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
