GENERAL SUMMARY:

Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus

Full Time benefit eligible

Shift: FT 36 hours per week, midnights 12 hour shift 7p-7:30a every other weekend

Takes radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Responsibilities: Prepares and positions patients for imaging and selects exposure factors accurately.jobs-near-me.org Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.jobs-near-me.org Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.jobs-near-me.org Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.jobs-near-me.org Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).jobs-near-me.org Ensures equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.jobs-near-me.org Assists in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.jobs-near-me.org Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

education/experience REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree within 6 months of hire, or Technical degree required within 6 months of hire required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
