Receiving Entry Clerk

STS Technical Services is hiring a Receiving Entry Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to support a growing manufacturing company. In this role, you’ll help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that incoming shipments are processed quickly and correctly. Your attention to detail will directly impact production visibility and overall operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately enter receiving data into Epicor ERP, including quantities, part numbers, lot numbers, and vendor information.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate team.
• Coordinate with purchasing and quality departments to resolve receiving discrepancies.
• Label and route materials to proper storage or production areas.
• Maintain organized records of all receiving transactions and documentation.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, ERP systems).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and ERP systems.
• Forklift certification a plus.
