Registered Nurse (RN) Manager and Nursing Support

This is for a full-time Nurse Manager role in our Critical Care/Telemetry.

About the job:

• Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit
• Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff
• Ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training
• May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• Leads and directs the work of others
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management

Requirements:

• FL RN License, Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Must be a registered nurse with at least 5-7 years of clinical experience in a related field
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
