About us The Centre for Medical Imaging, domiciled within the Division of Medicine at UCL, is a dynamic and versatile multi-disciplinary team at the sharp end of imaging research. Our team consists of physicists, radiologists, radiographers, programmers, clinical trialists and statisticians. We have strong ties via NCITA to, in London: Kings College (KCL), Imperial College London and the Institute of Cancer Research, (ICR) universities outside London: Manchester, Oxford and Cambridge. We also work closely with universities in both Europe and North America, and we have very strong relationships with designers of phantoms and AI partners. Our work spans right across the translational pipeline. We aim to establish a fast and robust cross-institutional pipeline to produce quality assured locked down Imaging Biomarkers (IB): both for drug discovery within pharma clinical trials leading to more efficient development of cancer therapies; and practice changing paradigms within the NHS for areas of unmet clinical need.
