Our Impact:

The Single-Family Acquisitions Operational Controls Testing Team is responsible for working with management to evaluate and test operational controls owned by the Single-Family Acquisitions line of business.

Your Impact:

  • Review test workpaper results including but not limited to control design, attributes and associated test scripts and sampling methodologies, identify gaps and/or recommendations
  • Provide guidance to testers to develop robust and efficient test procedures
  • Provide effective challenge wherever necessary, on potential observations and conduct a thorough severity assessment
  • Maintain the project test plan such as updating the test status (including coordination with external testing consultants)
  • Prepare the annual test plan and perform monthly test plan analysis and coordinate with risk leads for descoped controls and track new key controls
  • Manage test plan change process including coordination with risk leads, documenting rationale and obtaining approvals
  • Prepare testing-related management reports
  • Respond to ad hoc requests
  • Ensure compliance with corporate operational controls testing policies/standards

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of operational risk/process management and/or audit experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with controls testing (tests of design and operating effectiveness)
  • Proficient in severity assessment, control gap assessment and root cause analysis
  • Previous big four experience and/or relevant professional certifications (CIA, CPA etc.) are a plus

  • Solid understanding of the COSO internal control framework
  • Experience with compliance, technology-related controls testing concepts and best practices are a plus

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $124,000 – $186,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
