In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting material supply, collecting perishable crash data, managing budgeting and human resources tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. In this position, you will play a key role in prioritizing workplace safety for yourself and your colleagues. This requires maintaining awareness of potential hazards in the work environment and taking proactive steps to address them. It is essential to report any personal injuries immediately to ensure timely medical attention and minimize the risk of complications.
You will also oversee inventory management for Northumberland County maintenance, which includes sourcing and organizing necessary materials. This involves ordering and receiving supplies into Plant Maintenance, storing them appropriately, preparing transfer forms for various foremen’s stockpiles, and conducting monthly inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels across all sites. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring aggregate, bulk materials, and winter supplies, as well as performing safety inspections at all five stockpile locations each month.
Adhering to attendance and call-off protocols is essential, which includes scheduling non-emergency absences in advance and following designated start and stop times, breaks, and meal periods. You are expected to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, remain available for emergency overtime, and strive to minimize downtime and unproductive periods.
