This is approximately a 12-month position.Responsibilities:Optimize promotional and operational efforts through the analysis and prediction of sales trends and markets.Assess data-like customer metrics, competitor information, and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue, profit, and market share.Provide advice to the sales team, marketing (product managers) and executives to develop strategies to boost revenue, develop promotional campaigns, and sales priorities (maximize profit and revenue).Data-driven role that requires a balance of market analysis, budget management, and industry expertise.Additional Responsibilities:Optimize promotional and operational efforts through the analysis and prediction of sales trends and markets. Assess data like customer metrics, competitor information, and sales channels to determine the best methods of increasing both revenue, profit and market share.Work closely with sales and marketing teams while providing advice and guidance to decision-makers and company leadership.Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations. Additionally, review market data, including competitors, to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts.Create forecasts and projections showing expected sales and potential effects of new strategies (promotions, placement, SKU selection, in store condition, training, floor staff relationship management, and assisted selling) to aid in decision making.Prepare reports and presentations for the sales team. These reports can include data on market performance, competitor research, and general sales trends.Minimum Requirements:Requires in-depth knowledge and experienceSolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist; takes a new perspective using existing solutions, uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processesWorks independentlyActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience, often leads the work of project teams; may formally train junior staffRepresents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirementThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $64,213.00 to $85,617.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
