As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
