What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support controlled entry procedures in accordance with site protocols and applicable post orders.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, follow all armed post responsibilities, and complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
