As a Security Professional – Unarmed Patrol FT in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a welcoming environment, while you provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the tech, media, or telecom location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow instructions from Allied Universal management and adhere to all site-specific protocols and procedures.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry/exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
