Security Professional – Unarmed Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Professional – Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading technology location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing access control, and delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty to support the security-related needs of the tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control procedures and answer general inquiries related to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
