The Senior Cost Analyst willbe responsible for partnering with our manufacturing sites to collect and understand data to drive business decisions. Our organizationhascomplexities to the manufacturing and production operations and it’simperativecriticalthat you understand all components from start tofinish. This position is hybrid and requires working 2x/weekonsite time either at our HQ office in the River North neighborhood ofChicago, or our Rolling Meadows office.
Responsibilities
Assistin the planning, gathering, and collection of data from our different CPG sites todeterminecosts of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, labor, and overhead.
Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturingmethods or services to determine effects on cost.
Evaluateactual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Analyze audits of costs and prepare reports
Make estimates of new and proposed product costs
Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Responsible for maintaining BOMs, variance analysis, andconsolidatedreporting
Oversee processing and payment of vendor invoices
Special projects and ad-hoc reporting asrequired
Assistin month end close of the General Ledger
Conduct physical inventories andmonitorcycle count program
Collaborate in cross-functional capacity to meet business needs
Conduct ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field,Master’s Degreeor CPA certification, preferred
3+years experiencein cost accounting within CPG or manufacturing
Advancedproficiencyin MS Excel and MS Officerequired
Highly motivated, self-directed,innovativeand able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, commonsenseand resourcefulness

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
Green Thumb Pay Range
$85,000—$105,000 USD
