Senior Program Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position supports the Advanced SOSA Tactical Radio Architecture (ASTRA) program, assisting in program management, systems engineering, analysis, development, development, integration, testing, and evaluation services through the Air Combat Command Federal Laboratory (ACC Fed Lab) in support of ASTRA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the entire project process, including project nomination, cost estimation, and design framework.

  • Manage systems integration and subcontractor progress.

  • Plan and oversee component testing phases, such as software and hardware integration, surrogate testing, and field demonstrations.

  • Handle project funding and scheduling.

  • Coordinate activities under this PWS with other funded initiatives and government partners.

  • Draft initial contract language for government review and subsequent proposal evaluations to support government decision-making.

    Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 12 years of experience in Department of Defense Operations

  • Significant involvement with military aircraft, either as a pilot with a minimum of 1000 hours of flight time or through substantial documented experience

  • Experience with the integration of autonomous systems

  • Expertise in integrating training systems with operational frameworks

  • Experience with service-specific tests, weapons or test-pilot school training

  • Experience within a Major Command environment, led by a four-star general
