Special Education Educational Assistant in NORTH OGDEN, Utah

A charter school located in North Ogden, Utah, is accepting applications for a part-time Special Education Educational Assistant.

The mission of Maria Montessori Academy is to provide an individualized Pre-K through Grade 9 education that promotes academic excellence founded on the authentic philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. MMA will craft each child’s education in partnership with educators and parents to achieve higher levels of academic, personal and social achievement, thereby preparing students to become constructive contributors to their community.

Qualified applicants will have passed the PRAXIS exam or have an associate’s degree (or equivalent credits towards a bachelor’s degree). Qualified applicant will work under direction of a certified teacher. Preference may be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching. Candidate must also submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah’s Department of Public Safety requirements.
