• Deliver high-quality, tailored lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN
• Help shape and contribute to the school’s improvement and development strategies
• Support and advise teaching staff and support workers to enhance learning outcomes
• Recommend suitable resources to optimise classroom and SEN teaching practices
• Lead and contribute to in-house training and CPD for staff
• Act as a role model of the school’s inclusive and child-focused ethos

What We’re Looking For

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Solid understanding of SEND practices, including EHCPs and personalised learning plans
• Experience working with students with Autism, SEMH, or communication difficulties
• Confident working collaboratively with a wider professional team
• Strong planning, assessment, and classroom management abilities
• Experience mentoring or guiding teaching assistants or LSAs is desirable
