UNM Golf Courses is looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to join our team as On-Call Sports Equipment Attendants! Whether you’re an experienced golf enthusiast or someone eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at one of Albuquerque’s top golfing destinations.

Located just south of UNM’s campus, our 18-hole Championship Course and 9-hole North Course offer stunning views and a welcoming environment for players of all levels. Open 363 days a year, from sunrise to sunset, we need dedicated individuals who can contribute to the smooth operation of the courses and help deliver an exceptional experience for all our visitors.

As a Sports Equipment Attendant, your day will be filled with exciting tasks, including:

• Providing excellent customer service to golfers and visitors
• Cleaning, preparing, and operating golf carts for daily play
• Maintaining, washing, collecting, and distributing golf range balls and baskets
• Picking golf balls from the driving range
• Assisting with pace of play to ensure a smooth golfing experience
• Setting up the golf course for daily operations and special tournaments
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas to keep everything in top shape

We are looking for individuals who can work 2-3 days per week, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts, as our courses are open 7 days a week. Conditions of Employment

• All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University’s influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior face-to-face customer service experience
• Previous experience working at a golf course or have golf knowledge
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Positive, helpful attitude and flexibility
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
