Job Title: Wood Stacker

Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $14.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are hiring a hardworking and reliable Wood Stacker to assist in our lumber production facility in Shreveport. This position involves stacking, sorting, and organizing wood materials in a fast-paced environment while following safety procedures and meeting daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stack and organize wood boards or lumber pieces according to size and type
• Inspect wood for defects or damage and remove unusable pieces
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with moving materials using carts or manual equipment
• Follow instructions from supervisors and machine operators
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for 8+ hours
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, outdoor or warehouse setting
• Attention to detail and the ability to work at a steady pace
• Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
• No experience required – training provided
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
