Staff Accountant in Erie, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the industry, based in ERIE, Pennsylvania, 16501-1503, United States. The Staff Accountant will take charge of maintaining up-to-date financial records, managing customer inquiries, and overseeing customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Keep customer credit records updated and organized

• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently, ensuring top-notch customer service

• Oversee and monitor customer accounts regularly

• Handle general ledger operations

• Prepare and record journal entries as required

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Participate in year-end clean-up activities

• Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Contribute to month-end close procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Aptitude for conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to accurately prepare and manage Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks

• Knowledge of Oracle accounting software

• Experience with QuickBooks for financial management

• Familiarity with SAP accounting software
