Duties and responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
Additional Duties and responsibilities:
Interacting with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public.
Enforcing client and company policies and procedures.
Badge Compliance.
Respond, compile and report all information in regard to theft, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occur.
Observe and report all unusual activity.
Report all building utility/ service issues as observed and instructed to facilities.
Notify, assist and direct emergency personnel as necessary.
Security access of authorized personnel into building including visitors and their employee sponsors, client employees and / or contractors.
Dispatch patrol to allow access to authorized personnel for secured areas.
Dispatch patrol to check and/ or secure access areas into and onto client’s premises, as well as, highly sensitive locations within the buildings.
Monitor the movements and locations of all account security personnel in order to expedite service requests, emergency responses and to ensure employee safety.
Operate telephone and radio equipment
Prepare all required written reports, including but not limited to: Dispatch logs, Incident Reports, and all required logs.
Responsible for the proper operation and monitoring of all life safety, access control and loss prevention systems and related sub-systems.
Respond to system alarms and notifies the appropriate response resources as directed by procedure.
Responsible for the proper operation and monitoring of all security telephone, paging, radio and intercom communication systems.
Maintains and operates video surveillance system and equipment.
Maintain 100% uptime on alarm reliability
Qualifications:
18+ years of age
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Clean driving record and valid driver license
Capable of following complex instructions
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
