Role Overview Summary

The Consultant will be part of a rooster pool of proof/copy editing freelancers who will be on a retainer framework agreement over a 3year period of time depending on the demands to work on funding opportunities in the areas of Education, Health and Livelihoods . The consultant will be responsible for supporting VSO in building a strong content pipeline by copyediting and proofreading case studies to ensure clarity, engagement, and alignment with VSO’s brand guidelines. They will refine stories to effectively demonstrate the impact of VSO’s work and enhance its employer brand. Edited content will be shared via the VSO website and other internal and external communication channels, strengthening the organization’s storytelling and outreach efforts.

Ideal Applicant Summary

The ideal candidate for this role of Copy Writer and Content Producer Consultnat will ensure editorial quality by copy-editing and proofreading case studies, refining content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, while correcting grammar, spelling, and layout errors as needed. They will reword or rewrite sections where necessary and may handle both tasks simultaneously to deliver polished, high-quality content.
