• Join an established market leading Legal Corporate Equity Derivatives team
• Provide legal support for the Equity Derivatives businesses across the bank & support both flow and structured equity derivatives trading.
• Provide Regulatory change advice

The Role

• Transactional support to the Corporate Equity Derivatives and Synthetic Prime Brokerage businesses; advising on, and drafting documentation using the ISDA Equity Derivatives definitions.
• Working closely with the Front office structuring teams across EMEA and globally and across the wider legal team
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures applicable to the business area to minimise legal risks.
• Regulatory Change: In addition to transaction support, the role will include advising on and helping to implement regulatory change projects as well as programmes to enable the strategic development of the business area.
• Management of external counsel including responsibility for legal spend

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer with either experience of equity derivatives transactions gained in either private practice or in-house or relevant applicable background in financial services with transferrable skills
• Ideally with detailed knowledge and understanding of the industry standard documentation for equity derivatives and the regulatory framework applicable to such transactions.
