Job Summary

The PTP Vendor Onboarding & Supplier Master Data Management Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, optimization, and day-to-day oversight of vendor onboarding and supplier master data management processes. This role serves as the subject matter expert for vendor lifecycle management, data governance, Oracle Fusion integration, compliance controls, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly independent, analytical, and capable of identifying process gaps, recommending solutions, supporting Oracle Fusion initiatives, and driving operational excellence across procure-to-pay operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise vendor onboarding and supplier master data management strategy.
  • Oversee the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding activities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for vendor onboarding processes, supplier data governance, and Oracle Fusion-related initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Oracle Fusion project teams to review, test, validate, document, and implement process improvements.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and data quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation, standard operating procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Manage vendor onboarding activities including documentation collection, compliance reviews, approval workflows, and system setup.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of supplier records, payment information, tax documentation, banking details, and vendor profiles.
  • Establish and enforce supplier master data governance standards, including duplicate prevention, audit trails, and approval controls.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Tax, Human Resources, Technology, and Compliance teams to support enterprise objectives.
  • Support ERP implementations, system integrations, data migrations, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify and resolve operational, process, and data quality issues.
  • Manage third-party risk management activities, vendor due diligence, and ongoing compliance reviews.
  • Monitor vendor onboarding performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create executive-level reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking related to onboarding efficiency, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Develop and deliver training programs related to vendor onboarding processes and supplier data management.
  • Support audit readiness activities and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in vendor onboarding, procure-to-pay operations, supplier management, or master data management.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience overseeing vendor onboarding, supplier management, or related functions.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or a comparable ERP platform.
  • Strong understanding of vendor master data governance, data quality management, and systems integration.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, data migrations, system testing, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
  • Strong process improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining process documentation and operational procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and influence process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, audit requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with supplier onboarding platforms, automation tools, or master data management solutions.
  • Familiarity with third-party risk management (TPRM) frameworks.
  • Knowledge of vendor tax and banking requirements, including W-9, W-8, 1099, OFAC screening, and TIN matching.
  • Experience operating within a global business services (GBS) or shared services environment.
  • Experience in a media, entertainment, or large enterprise organization.

Work Experience

  • Experience leading vendor onboarding, supplier master data management, procure-to-pay operations, or related business process functions.
  • Experience partnering with ERP implementation teams, particularly Oracle Fusion projects.
  • Experience driving process optimization, governance initiatives, and operational improvements in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting system migrations, change management, and business transformation efforts.
